The announcement of a strengthened network, including new direct connections to dynamic European capitals and an increased offer to popular seaside destinations, positions Eurowings as a major player in the travel market.
A summer of expansion in 2026
Eurowings is actively preparing its 2026 summer season with a flight schedule that promises to broaden its horizons. The company is focusing on diversifying its offer, adding key destinations to its European network while consolidating its presence on the most popular routes. This strategy is designed to meet the expectations of travelers seeking new experiences and easier connections.
New capitals on the program
Summer 2026 will see the introduction of several new direct routes, opening new doors to iconic European cities. From Düsseldorf, Eurowings will for the first time offer flights to Madridthe vibrant Spanish capital, as well as to Tallinnthe charming Estonian capital. These new routes reflect a desire to strengthen links between the continent's economic and cultural centers.
Berlin is not to be outdone, with the inauguration of a series of flights dubbed "Capital Express". This initiative will make it possible to reach LisbonPortugal's capital, renowned for its unique atmosphere, as well as London-Heathrowone of the world's most connected airports, and Sarajevothe revitalized capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These additions confirm Eurowings' ambition to become a key player in intra-European travel.
Record supply to islands and beaches
In parallel with its expansion towards capital cities, Eurowings confirms its leading position in leisure destinations. Summer 2026 will see a record number of flights to the islands and coasts of the Mediterranean. Strengthening German hubs

- Berlin will be expanded to 43 direct destinations, including six major new ones such as London-Heathrow, Lisbon, Olbia, Naples, Sarajevo and Kavala. Frequencies will also be increased to popular destinations such as Zurich, Split and Helsinki.
- À DüsseldorfThe airline will offer 114 destinations, including three new routes to Madrid, Tallinn and Karpathos. Flights to London, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Nice will benefit from increased frequencies.
- Hamburg will expand its network to 54 routes, with the notable addition of Tel Aviv and an increase in flights to Heraklion and Verona.
- Hanover will welcome new routes to Nice and Alicante, while flights to Dubai and Stockholm will be strengthened.
- Cologne/Bonn will offer 72 destinations, including Pristina, Tbilisi and Lanzarote, with increased flight density to Tirana and Valencia.
- Finally, Stuttgart will see the return of Marrakech in the summer season, complemented by a reinforced offer to Mediterranean classics such as Málaga and Palermo.
Expanding beyond Germany's borders
Eurowings doesn't just focus on the German market. Since PraguePassengers will enjoy new routes to Brindisi, Ibiza and Hurghada. The Austrian network will also be expanded, with a new route from Salzburg to Genoa and more flights from Graz to Crete.
