Cathay Pacific's modernized Boeing 777-300ER made its maiden flight on the Hong Kong-Beijing route on October 18. The new cabin layout was unveiled at a special ceremony held two days earlier at Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) at Hong Kong International Airport. The event was attended by guests of honor, loyal customers, Cathay members, the press and company employees.

This transformation will be followed by an all-new First Class experience on board 777-9s, as well as an all-new Business Class product with reclining bed on its Airbus A330s.
