The airline Transavia France announces an ambitious program for summer 2026, enriching its network with six new routes from its Paris and regional bases. At the same time, the low-cost airline is strengthening its digital presence with the launch of its WhatsApp channel «Transavia News» and the success of its mobile application.

Network expansion for Summer 2026

From spring 2026, Transavia France will be inaugurating new routes to Wroclaw in Poland and Alghero in Sardinia, accessible from Paris-Orly. This expansion strategy also affects the company's regional bases in Lyon, Montpellier and Marseille, which will see the addition of new services.

New connections from Paris-Orly

From Paris-Orly, two new European destinations have been added to Transavia France's catalog. The first is Wroclaw, Poland, which will be served from April 16, 2026 with two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays. This offer meets growing demand for lesser-known destinations and for customers visiting their families. The second new service is to Alghero in Sardinia, with flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays from April 18, 2026. This route will compete with Volotea from the same airport. It should be noted that Transavia Holland will also be offering flights to Alghero from Amsterdam.

Strengthening Regional Bases

Transavia France is also consolidating its presence at its key regional hubs: Lyon, Montpellier and Marseille. For summer 2026, several new routes are planned:

Montpellier: Towards the Spanish sun and Morocco

From Montpellier, Transavia France will add a service to Malaga in Spain, with a weekly Sunday flight, from July 19, 2026. Another new service will be to Tangiers in Morocco, with one flight a week on Wednesdays, from July 15, 2026.

Lyon: A new Greek destination

The Lyon base will benefit from a new connection to Mykonos in Greece. Two flights a week will be operated on Thursdays and Sundays, from July 16, 2026.

Marseille: Opening to Algeria and extension to Israel

From Marseille, Transavia France will inaugurate a service to Oran in Algeria, with two flights a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, from April 10, 2026. The existing route to Tel Aviv will be extended for the summer season, with a weekly flight on Tuesdays.

These new routes join a first salvo of openings announced for summer 2026, including destinations such as Araxos, Bourgas, Sarajevo and Pisa, as well as reinforcements at other regional bases. Sales for the 2026 summer season are already open, enabling travelers to plan their stays at attractive rates.

Digital Innovation: WhatsApp and Mobile Application

In parallel with its network expansion, Transavia France is innovating its communication and customer relations strategy using digital tools.

«Transavia News on WhatsApp: Direct Communication

At the end of October 2025, the airline launched «Transavia News», a dedicated marketing channel on WhatsApp. Accessible via whatsapp.transavia.com, this free service allows subscribers to receive exclusive information directly to their phone: promotional offers, new route announcements, seasonal sales openings, and personalized advice on finding the perfect flight. This channel complements the existing WhatsApp feed for customer service, offering a fluid, modern user experience.

The Mobile Application: A Confirmed Success

Transavia France's mobile application, available on iOS and Android, has passed the symbolic milestone of one million downloads. It centralizes numerous functionalities to simplify travel: flight search and booking, options management (baggage, seats), reservation modification and online check-in. This success underlines the growing importance of mobile platforms in the customer travel experience.

These developments confirm Transavia France's position as a dynamic player in the low-cost air transport market, combining network expansion and digital innovation to meet passenger expectations.
