The airline Arajet recently announced the opening of new routes between Punta Cana and the cities of Toronto and Montréalmaking these destinations accessible at a competitive rate of 165 Canadian dollars ($120 US) per trip, taxes included. These flights will start on October 27.

Building on its success, Arajet is pursuing its growth plan by making Punta Cana a second strategic hub. Visit CEO and founder of Arajet, Victor Pacheco Mendezsaid that this new initiative reinforces the company's expansion, consolidating its existing network and adding new destinations to its portfolio.
The Dominican Republic, an aviation hub
Arajet is not just adding Toronto and Montreal to its network. The company aims to make Dominican Republic a major air hub for the continent. New destinations such as Buenos Aires, Quito, Guayaquil, Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena will also be available at competitive rates.
Operations maintained at Las Americas airport
At the same time, theLas Americas International Airport (LAIA) in Santo Domingo will continue to operate. Pacheco Mendez has ensured the availability of numerous destinations from both airports, allowing passengers to choose the option that suits them best.

Punta Cana becomes Arajet's third destination in the Dominican Republic. In addition to LAIA, the airline operates scheduled flights from Cibao international airport and plans to add flights from Puerto Plata international airport.
