Travelsoft: French technology revolutionizes airline travel offers

Marc Leonelli·

In a tourism sector marked by persistent economic challenges, Travelsoft Group, a French technology company, stands out for its innovative software solutions. Specialized in SaaS (Software as a Service) for’travel industry, It enables airlines and tour operators to transform their offers and optimize their profitability.

Founded in 2000, Travelsoft first conquered the French market with its Orchestra platform. Thanks to a strategy of targeted acquisitions, the group rapidly expanded its global footprint, integrating companies such as ATCORE, TravelgateX, and more recently airQuest and .BOSYS Software GmbH. Today, Travelsoft employs over 700 people, operates in more than 90 countries, and manages more than 300 customers and 600 suppliers, handling an annual booking volume in excess of 50 billion euros.

A modular platform for package tours

Travelsoft's SaaS tools enable the creation of dynamic packages including flights, hotels, activities, transfers and insurance. These offers are connected in real time to a multitude of sources, from airlines via NDC technology, to global distribution systems (GDS), hoteliers and cruise operators. Distribution is handled across all channels: websites, mobile applications, physical points of sale and call centers. The approach is based on automation, offer personalization, fine-tuned margin management and yield optimization.

«ATCORE's technology platform enabled us to contract directly with hosting providers using the ATCOM Contracting module, and to optimize pricing via the ATCOM Price Modelling and Yield Management modules. As a result, we obtained a 40% margin premium over indirect sources.»

- Garry Wilson, CEO of easyJet Holidays

EasyJet Holidays, an example of successful transformation

One of the most emblematic use cases is that of’easyJet Holidays. Created in 2019, this tour operator has used ATCORE's ATCOM platform (integrated into Travelsoft since 2024) to develop and manage its catalog of package holidays. Previously, easyJet mainly offered basic flight + accommodation packages. With ATCOM's dynamic packaging solution, the British low-cost airline was able to negotiate directly with hoteliers, adjust its prices in real time and manage its yield management, while maintaining a seamless connection with its airline reservation system.

The results speak for themselves: the average value of a booking increased by 70%. By 2025, easyJet Holidays' pre-tax profit has reached £250 million (approx. 280 million euros), exceeding forecasts. The company has doubled its market share in the UK and is now targeting £450 million in pre-tax profits by 2030. Bookings for summer 2026 are already at record levels, making a significant contribution to the easyJet group's profitability trajectory.

Travelsoft extends its influence

easyJet's success is not an isolated case. Other airlines and tour operators are adopting Travelsoft technologies. The Lufthansa Group now uses Travelsoft platforms to distribute all its NDC content, including exclusive fares. Major players such as TUI and DER Touristik rely on ATCORE tools to optimize package production and develop additional revenues.

The integration of airQuest strengthens Travelsoft's expertise in the airline sector, with a solution that automates the distribution, issuance and tracking of airline tickets. At the same time, Travelsoft has launched Travelsoft Services, a multi-product consolidator, and Travelsoft Pay, a B2B payment platform developed in partnership with Mastercard. These new offerings aim to simplify the travel value chain, from booking to settlement, via transaction management and financial flows.

Travelsoft has thus established itself as a key technology partner for the travel industry, supporting the digital transformation of airlines and tour operators for a more integrated, profitable and agile offering.
